HR just asked some typical questions; where are you based, when you can start, do you now excel, and why this position etc. But, they haven't reached me again. It is gonna be 2 days this evening. Since it is a very beginning stage in the process, I thought I was gonna receive news faster. Do you think I still have a chance of receiving positive news?

I wouldn't stress too much yet. Two days isn't that long, some companies just take their time with stuff. A couple things that could be going on:
- They may have a bunch of phone screens lined up and it's taking them time to get through everyone. Just cause you haven't heard back doesn't mean you're out of the running.
- It was probably just an initial screen, so they may still have other interviews or tests planned before making any decisions.
- Could be something on their end slowing things down too, like the recruiter being busy with other stuff.
I'd give it at least another few days before getting worried. In the meantime, you can keep applying to other jobs too so you've got options. But don't count yourself out of this one yet, man. Just play the waiting game - they'll contact you if you move forward, or you'll know more definitely if it's over. Stay positive!
Sure do ! Company dependent , but HR works in mysterious ways , and sometimes it takes wayyyyyyyyyy longer than you expected. Its okey to give them a quick call and follow up , its shows you are keen , I'd do that.
