Is it a good or bad sign that the jobplace I had an interview with last week just called and didn't leave a voicemail?

When the manager called for an interview a while ago, he left a message. I get a lot of nonsense calls so if he hadn't, I probably would never have gotten that interview.

At the interview h said he will be making a decision by Friday of this week. Well it isn't Friday yet.

So getting a call just now today is surprising. I also dont get why no voicemail was left.

Hmm, that can go either way. On the one hand, I'd say it could be seen as good that they didn't leave a voicemail saying they had filled the position. That would be the easy way out and no confrontation.

On the other hand, would have been nice for them to leave information as to why the call. I am really torn here but going with my gut I say good. I imagine maybe they had a followup question or had made an early decision.

I would just wait until Friday. If they really need to reach you, they will try again. I hope this is the case and you get the job! Good luck!!!
