I won’t say “overrated”… but people need to know what their job options will be once they get that degree and how it will help them. Like some people think that just getting random degree is better than no degree so they just get one just to get one.

That's a great question. American college is underrated for all the fun times (hell, even if a person flunks college with or without debt, it was still a heck of a time surely unless one is not going to weekend parties off campus at all or having any dorm room fun) lol. Ah well. I for one never went to college. I only did a course where I basically went home at the end of every day, no dorms, no parties. Lol. Im glad it was 1 year and I was out and I got what I wanted, my qualification 📜🗞️ hooray 🎉. That said, American college is an amazing beast to ride 😋
Not overrated but rather misinterpreted. Gender Studies is a course, right? Well it's meaningless.
Then again, mollecular biology is also a study.
Universities aren't made to create jobs, so if you think just reading in one makes you qualified for something, you're misinterpeting the thing
Also, there's an inflation of collages, not all of them are any good, and not every course in a good university is intrinsically good either.
