What do you wish you could say to your boss?

I've been my own boss twenty years. I have, however, told three previous employers exactly - and in one case graphically - where they could insert their employment given how they treated their staff in general and me in particular.

I don't take shit from anyone. If I'm working there it's as much my choice as the employer's. And if you treat me like shit I'll happily leave.

I worked as a delivery driver for a bakery when I was 19. The boss thought I'd be too intimidated to quit. The busiest week at a bakery is the week before Easter. I collected my wages for the previous week, checked it was all there, then quit without notice.

As I left he was cursing me out. Next day one of the bakers quit without notice as well. Two weeks later the bakery was closed permanently. Because the entire staff quit. We all told him the same thing: "You don't pay any anyone here enough to put up with how you treat us"

I just say what I feel like saying. I don't hold anything back. I give it to him with both barrels. I call him all sorts of names and tell him to f off.
Did I forget to mention that I am my own boss.
