What’s the craziest thing a boss has ever said to you at work?

I saw this question on another social media platform I’m on and I thought I’d share it here.

For me, my boss said: “If I went home every time I didn’t feel well, i wouldn’t have a job.”

My left eye had been irritated all day long and it wouldn’t stop watering for anything. At the point I asked to go home, I had a migraine from the eye irritation. For context, I work in a call center and I work in front of a computer all day. Me having a watering, irritated eye was not conducive that day.

My former supervisor knew that I thought he was a lazy so-and-so who only got his position because he was friends with one of the owners. I don't remember what we were talking about, but he asked if I wanted to step outside and discuss it. As if we were going to fight it out. I just asked "Whaaat?". Since it surprised me. I wanted to ask "What are you, a junior high-schooler?".

Thankfully, he was told to resign by the remaining owner when this guy's benefactor wanted to be bought out of the business.

I work retail and once had a very abusive boss. Being called a "Fucking piece of shit" was common. He's some sort of vice-president now or something higher up.
