If every job in the world gave you $1,000,000 a year, what job would you choose, and why?

I like a wide variety of things, and have done a wide variety. I would not want to do just one thing. I want to experience lots of things, just to experience them.
I worked mainly in engineering and residential construction. I don't feel like my life would have been whole without either of those. I have done a lot of other things, and enjoyed most of them.
I can not think of ANY job that I would want to do exclusively. If I'm completely qualified for a job, I don't want it. Being completely qualified means I'm not learning anything new. Once I reach the point that I'm not learning anything, it's time to move on.
Other options, which weren't the direction I ended up going, would be some kind of outdoor field work, such as forestry, geology, archeology, etc.
Cocktail mixer and Barbecue griller at sandy beaches but with a flexible schedule, so I can go for a swim during my multiple medium-long breaks as I do both awesome work and get to enjoy the sandy beach and the sea from 10 AM in the morning until evening.
Something creativeβ beatmaker, ghostwriter/poet, art director, jinglewriter,, radio host/disc jockey, film screenwriter/critic, interior showroom designer/consultant or lingerie designer
Thank you for mho :) Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas dream girl π
The job I have. Being a personal assistent to a kid with special needs.
What a kind soul and humanitarian you are
ππ I dont know about that lol but thank you
What about you?:)
I'm amazed that no one came up with stuff like hotel food critic, ice cream taster, travel blogger/influencer, wildlife photographer, professional sleeper (testing mattresses), voice actor, waterslide tester and stuff like that... Like I'd probably choose to be a hotel food critic. You travel to hotels all paid for and taste their food and rate it. That sounds fucking amazing lol. Either that or being an influencer on life and relationship advice. Or maybe an e-commerce store owner that blogs about Boho aesthetic
I'm clearly more selfish than you π
That sounds really fun. Smart choice!
No you aren't more selfish I just like working for kidsπ

This thing about "passion" came up with an individual in my past life. I just don't think he was using the word correctly. If I were to work as, say, an accountant and like doing it, he would say that accounting is my "passion". I would have to disagree. My "passion" would be "details", and accounting is a means of expressing that passion and earning some money at the same time. I would still be a Massage Therapist, but my "passion" isn't massage for massage sake. Massage is one way of helping fellow humans feel better, and there is a lot of detail involved to boot.
Apparently, it has nothing to do with what I want as much as it does with what I can be lucky enough to get!! If it was all about me getting what I want, I would've had one of my dream jobs 45 years ago!! Instead, I've ALWAYS had to take what jobs I can get!! So far, only 5 very short-lived jobs (a few days to a few weeks @) dealing with my passion have ever fallen into my lap. The other 60-some jobs were just random shit that I could find.
This is not about realism here man. This is just basically what your dream job would be if money wasn't an issue.
The same as it's always been; working in a record store, music library, radio station, record distributor, recording studio or record pressing plant. And, playing drums in a famous rock band. I sort of had that, though.
Either that or a gynecologist.
Loooool gynecologist π
Fire watchman. Hike out to the towers and get paid to look at beautiful mountains.
I really like that one
Have you watched Those Who Wish Me Dead. That tower needed some upgrading
I would be designing/building bridges...
If every job gave you $1,000,000 a year I would hate to see the price of gas.
On the flip side I would sell shells at the beach part time, Iβm thinking Monday through Tuesday with a four hour lunch break.
Not talking about how it'll affect the economy man π
I love doing what I do now, so there would be no need to change anything.
WWE part time. I donβt wanna be on the road all year the wrestlers complain. Itβs a brutal travel schedule but I should be paid more than that for being a wrestler.
I'll still be trading gold, living my Scrooge McDuck life
Hard to say, maby genetic engineering for medicinal plants, work a weed farm, building treehouses or cool unique homes.
Mmm no itβs been genetically bred even for survival purposes. I wouldnβt want to go in and change the code myself unless itβs through a natural process but you can make parts of plants bigger or breed them so they have stronger medicinal concentrations. Some plants have an entire pharmacy inside there genome but we will never be able to use it properly without sifting it out through generations of genetic breeding. Given that, you could produces a viable quantity and make advances in Medicine. Safer and more effective medicine would be the goal.
I wouldn't work. The money would be close to worthless.
What is up with you people that suck the fun out of everything? π Read my responses to others and you'll get it π
The median world income is like $16 a week. You want to print money to devalue the dollar until $1,000,000 has the purchasing power of $16. Like I said, in that case I would not work for other people. I'd rather be a subsistence farmer without a dollar in my pocket than work for a depreciated fiat currency in your future vision of the world. Communism is a nightmarish dystopic existence. There is nothing fun about it.
Yeah man... you're too literal. You must be fun at parties π
I wound do high end wood/metal furniture and sculpture fabrication.
Probably photography. I think I've always loved taking photos.
Janitor cause it's easy
Iunno man... I wouldn't say being a janitor is easy lmao
I did it when I was a teen for free for the school cause I didn't behave Good, I can assure you, it's pretty easy lol
I feel like school janitor is pretty easy but if you go to any big place or office building, I really don't think that shit's easy π
Ima go for what's easier, 1 million dollars is worth any job but the easier I can make it for myself, the better lol
If every job did, prices would rise to match and we'd all be equally median earners.
I'm aware, but this is not a question on how it will affect the economy. It is a purely fun question of if you made $1,000,000 for any job, and the currency has the same value as it has right now, what would you choose to pursue? π Man people like you suck the fun out of everything. If I asked "If there was world peace for 1 day, what do you think could happen?" you would be like "World peace can never happen so this question is not viable." π
Waaahhh. You asked an imbecilic question and got a serious answer.
You just proved my point π
Professional musician.
a video game tester or a gourmet.
Feed bums
That's a good cause, but I did mention it has to be a legit job. I'm not sure if that counts
I had no clue that was a thing. I thought that was just charity. Unpaid volunteer work
An author.
