Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI would change that I would start looking into universities as soon as 9th grade and checking which classes I can already start taking. I wouldn’t waste my time laughing so much being stupid just trying to look pretty. None of that really matters. Yeah I had an awesome fun time in high school but I wasn’t the type to realize I had to be looking into what comes next. I wish someone had shared some insight into that.. my sister did it but she never advices me to do it and why. Our brains work different while others are more mature and realize this on their own, some people need to have an eye opener of how life works.
for this reason I always speak about to my nieces and nephews and tell them they should be looking into what they want and still have fun now but not leave it for later about checking which collages and universities will be good options for what they plan to do.
I wish someone did that with me but nobody did :/ either they assumed I was doing it already or they didn’t care..Call it stupid or naive but it just never crossed my mind that real life is not high school.
like I knew we grew up and become our parents but I didn’t know how you get there..you have to figure out which schools benefit you and what classes you need and not waste time and money in colleges or classes that you don’t need etc

Opinion Owner+1 yI say all this because I wasted more than 40k in school that I really didn’t need. And went to the worse university and I had no idea u til a few months before graduating :/

+1 yAs a teenager in high school, I obviously made many errors in judgment and acted dumb in many legal and socially acceptable ways, but I do not believe my high school years could have been lived out any other way, cause I had limited knowledge back then, and the way I turned out, was the best version of myself that I could have possibly attained at that point in my life. The only thing I would change is I would have postponed contact with my old high school friends until I had matured to the point where I could socialize them in a way that as not offensive to them. I had no sense of secrecy when I was younger and would blabber my secrets to people because nobody taught me to be discrete about things, such as a low grade on a test, or a rejection by a guy, or a fear I had that could make me look weak to others etc...

@getwiththepg lol I thought he was gonna say eh can tell even with only half of your face being visible that your hair is fried lol 😂
No bad intentions here just after reading the “wouldn’t have straightened my hair so often” it seems that’s what the comment would say
Funny funny 😁 - +1 y
@1073sucks It was 15 years ago, so my hair is far from fried, lol. I deleted all of my high school pictures, it was so cringe 😬
+1 yI didn't give a lot of chicks the chance... too fat... too ugly... too dumb. If I could go back I'd just bang them all. I was getting all that sweet sweet underage pussy, and I could've just had more while it was still legal. The hatred of my younger self as a young man is real... and the struggle of dealing with that now is real.

Why did I not bang more underage pussy when it was legal?
All I can do now is feel the shame (-_-) 22 Reply- +1 y
For real though you can't. Or at least can't enjoy it.
Isn't that how dopamine works, and old dudes with high testosterone levels can't get hard if their dopamine is low...
Have you tried edging forever? You can't. Why? I feel sleepy afterward, although much less so than after cooming, it still happens. I believe it's this dopamine rebound they talk about.
Even edging gets you dopamine. Of course if you fuck a few chicks you get pleasure, and dopamine. At some point however it just becomes normal, more won't feel better unless you made it a goal to simply do more quantity. And then your dopamine falls below baseline and you feel crappy no matter what you do.
This may be of interest too to those like @emyywolf who trash males for getting sleepy after cooming. I already said, even edging gets you sleepy so it isn't just cooming - its exhaustion of your "dopamine reserves" or whatever they call it.
Even taking coke - you'll prolong your enjoyment (dopamine) and afterward prolong the recovery (when you lack dopamine and are flooded with prolactin).
Reminds me how male rhinos get more testosterone when they fuck around 3 females, rather than just 1, but doesn't seem like keeping more than 3 does anything.
I think it makes sense. - +1 y
They say every surge of dopamine is followed by a rebound below baseline.
It takes dopamine to maintain an erection. Or at least, a really fucking stiff and sensitive one.
See? The valley after a peak being inevitable, you have to not enjoy it in order to have more quantity.
Great question ! and HELL YEAH , I would change so many things , but I would have to take back with me the knowledge I have today , thats the tricky bit , certainly vastly different with women / girls , different focus with studies , economic based study , change my approach to my best sport , begin financials immediately , listen far less to the bullshit my mother spoke..
And probably much much more , I'd write a list before I went back , it would be interesting to address issue by issue.

+1 yI graduated halfway through the year and honestly? I wouldn't change a thing.
I studied enough that I earned an academic score, allowing me to attend almost all universities in the country, but didn't have to sacrifice a social life to get it. I had a highschool sweetheart, dating between grade 8-12. A best friend who I walked into school on the first day with. And my favourite memories have come from theatre which I attended for six years, making friends along the way. I wouldn't change anything. Sure, I never went to the stereotypical highschool party with under-age drinking and sex but I had my own bashes with my 5 friends, it was enough 😄10 Reply- 316 opinions shared on Education & Career topic.
+1 yNo.
I made plenty of mistakes in my teens. In theory going back and doing things better would be great. But this emisyakes got me to where I am today. Engaged with two young kids. Changing my teens years would mean I wouldn't have them. Most likely I'd have different kids with a different partner. I wouldn't give up my actual kids for anything10 Reply I'd like to have a proper prom with floor length dress music and everything. Also I was too shy to dance with this guy in my freshman year I was to overwhelmed so I told him that I have to go to the bathroom. Who knows he might have been my boyfriend now. Or maybe no. Maybe he could be an ass. Either way it's in the past, we have to focuse on the future.

+1 yNot be so shallow and check my hair in every reflection I passed, maybe be kinder as well and not dismissive of people I thought of as "below me". I would say not date the girl I dated as well since it was quite a bad on-and off deal but it did bring me some valuable experience and life lessons.
