If so, do you know why?
I had a panel interview a year ago with 3 managers and one of them seemed a bit distracted, they didn't explain much about the project I would be working on and didn’t tell me about the next steps after the interview. The interview was on Friday morning and I got an offer on Monday. Why did they hire me if they didn’t like me?

Sometimes , you honestly just go better than you think , which is what happened in your case , I've been on both sides of the desk , and the strange thing is now , I just love going for interviews , sometimes I don't want the role , but I just love the challenge.
Its interesting in the old days I was shitting myself with fear , now I'm just different , I won't say I'm without fear , I think its like a stage show , you need some fear , but I've just learnt how to respond , they always end up saying " Umm Dave , look incredible to talk with you , but look we are 20 minutes over , and really we just have to go " .. if they say this , its rare that you have not done well.
I was 6 from 6 when I went back to Brisbane for a bit ( but I didn't want all 6 obviously ) so , you had exactly what they wanted , and they probably had to answer bullshit questions from HR , which is why they seemed disinterested ( notes ) .
In my time on that side of the desk , there was none of that.
i think that's normal to think that you didn't do well, but you actually did if you got the job. just saying, don't beat yourself up too much. you did good
Possibly u was the best fit for it even with them not liking u
