Yes. A previous employer many years ago lied to me during my interview and hire. They lied again to get me fired. I didn't have trouble finding a new job. Even if I did though, I had the option to go back to the job I had before then, which I eventually did, but not until several months later.

Yes, I applied for an engineering job for an IT service provider. The owner called me and said he wanted me to interview for a position where I would be in charge of their technical staff. I told him i had applied for an engineering position and had never done what he wanted me to do. He insisted that I had all the qualifications so I took the job. It looked to me that the department was a mess, work was not getting done and everyone seemed to be just doing what they wanted to do. I tried to get peo0ple to take responsibility for their jobs. Naturally everyone complained. I really hated working there. After about 7 weeks I got fired. I found a better job in about two weeks.

And yes. And yes. More than once. Other times I quit. I'm not a bad worker, I just either had issues with coworkers, managers, or I was lumped into a job I didn't think through or wasn't for me.
I had to take whatever work came along
Are things in a happier place now in 2024? They are for now and I have to say that to be touch-wood grateful for my lucky stars 🤩 after all, life's unpredictable as much as they say about business or the way stock markets crash one day recover another. and so I'm just grateful I eventually found another job.
Now that said, I always like to remark to myself, "it could easily be sunny one day, fired the next" and that could just be restructuring or a economic issues. Ah well. I just have to take life as it rolls with me with the waves 🌊I’ve been fired but i’ve never had difficulty finding wort.
No, never.
