I did bartending back in the day, and was pretty bad. I often struggled to hear people over the background noise, and could never remember an entire round of drinks (plus this was before computerized tills, so in addition to remembering what had been ordered, you also had to be adding up the cost in your head as you went along).
i had a job in an accounting office that i hated for close to two years, i wasn’t bad at it i just felt like it was such a soul sucking job that i stopped caring about it eventually.
I have worked at the same place my entire working life which began when I was 15 and hired as a hostess, moved up to server, then to bartender and now manage the restaurant/bar. Becoming a good bartender was the challenge for me.
It's all the combination of different drinks that makes it tough to do it right

I was forced to take over a department that I had no clue about. Despite my reservations I was assured that it would be a purely supervisory role and that I would be able to hire a technician to do the technical tasks.
Well, I was not able to hire anyone to help and the results were just what you would expect.
I was good at my job and I was mentally prepared for it at first however it affected me so much that It was affecting my work performance and health, I had to leave after a few years working it. I worked in biohazard janitorial services, dealt with a lot of Mold, dangerous chemicals, gore, blood, human waste, medical waste and the list goes on…. It messed me up mentally, I have severe anxiety and some other health issues from it. It affects me daily.
I took temporary jobs through the school district and we did grass cutting, using weed whackers, emptying garbage cans, I would work in rain or sunshine but other co-workers wouldn't work in the rain, yeah it was a job I wasn't too good at and I was hot but I only got paid back when Minimum Wage was $3.35 an hour then I believe the Minimum Wage went up in Reagan's second term not quite sure.
I haven't had a job that I would consider I wasn't good at, whether my employers agreed with that is a different matter 😂
Yes, classroom teacher, I was great 1/2/1 or small groups but managing 30 students at once just did my head in,,,
I work as TA in special needs now and love it!,,,
Yes, I have had several very fine jobs, that I wish I could have performed better at. They were with Ford Aerospace, and with Fluor Corporation. Two of the major corporations on the United States, if not in the world.
Well first off, that's what she said. And secondly, yes. That is one reason my resume is two pages long.

I was a security guard once. I don't recall being very good at it.
I was actually really, REALLY terrible working at McDonalds.
No, I've always made sure that I would be good at the job before taking it. I've been fortunate, but if it turned out I wasn't good at the job, I would have changed jobs.
Research the company and job you're about to take. You can usually get a good idea of how good you would be at that.
Yes but not for long. I applied for a night shift job but after two days I quit cause I couldn't stay up all night.
Yeah I'm not too good at the one i have now actually
As a teenager, I had a job cooking at a hamburger stand which I hated. I got fired after a week because I couldn't keep up with it.
Yeah. I used to work at a Mexican-type restaurant and I had to roll burritos. I sucked at that lol.
In the beginning of the job, yes. Over time I got better.
nope, I learn quick, besides... they would have not let me keep a job that I just can't do right
I was pretty terrible as a stock boy at the grocery store
