In high school did anyone have a friend that was super hyper fixated on doing there work?

They where trying way to hard, teachers pet, always got work done as fast as they could after they got it. Studied to much, did extra credit even if they had an A, would freak out over an A-

There are people who are like this. Sometimes it’s more of a reflection of their parents then anyone else. Not all the time some people are naturally high achievers. It’s a good thing to want your kids to do well. But when parents are totally unreasonable I have a problem with that. Especially if they’re being pushed beyond their abilities.

I did know some people who were like this. There was a couple of different types as well. There was some who were arrogant and believed they were better then everyone else. There were some who were nice but very focused on their school work. Then there was some who didn’t really try at all and would get straight A’s in advanced classes without hardly trying

Sort of me, I did not try hard and was anything but teachers pet lol. I did however get all work done asap. I found a lot of it very easy and just did it quickly, I did not study much as I did not need to. I did however get my work all done well before time and handed I.

nah... not really. So we had A-students, but no one really was a teacher's pet... mostly because of the current political system we lived in... teacher's pets would have very hard lives... also, we all did extra credits as part of the preparation for the final exam...

yes... and their mother didn't like me being top of the class without even trying... lol

she hated me, the mother... she was too pushy on her daughter, they don't even talk to each other nowadays... that's sad

so, in my case it wasn't her fault... and I'm glad she's happy today

I somewhat was that person, but when it came to focusing on the material or it was because I had work to do for another class. That way I would have nothing to do after school.

There were some I knew like that as well.

Minus the teachers pet that was me. I had no interest in socializing with people even as a kid.
