Have you ever been with a girl/guy who later turned out to be a total nerd, totally obsessed with studies, having very limited social life?

What actually happens is that people get mocked for being a nerd when their early 20s and before... but then later on the people who mocked them are broke drug addicts or have to pay child support to 5 different women & the 'nerd' is socially well adjusted with the hot wife, luxury home and so on.
For women the question should be more about do they want to end up as one of the women who has 250+ boyfriends and not one quality dude every takes them seriously or do they want a quality dude. It's a trick question for modern women cause (most of them) think they can have everything in life while giving little to nothing to men.
I’m guessing Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Warren Buffet couldn’t get dates in high school. Women want rich men but detest the qualities that self made millionaires have, hard work, studying and frugality.
@MikeInHawaii Or their girlfriend cheated/left them for the jock.
Yep. The guy who now changes the oil in Warren Buffet’s Cadillac. We all know that every high school football player is bound for fame and fortune. It isn’t less than 1% of college players making the pros with an average career lasting three years!
I am married to a book worm she has more books than a library but that leaves me to fish and not be bothered
I was the nerd obsessed with studies from age 5-22. I’d only have fun on the weekends and thats if i didn't have a project due. Also if we were given a month to do a project, i often did it on the first few nights. I also did homework on the bus before even getting home lol. I don't know i really loved school and used to be booksmart. I haven't had to use my Brain much in the last 5 years so its turned to mush probably
Yes I have, it has was an odd experience because I like him but we would barely spend time together because he was always busy with work, research, reading…

Needs, I can handle. I can be something of one myself. What goes too far, are complete woman-child types. Extreme immaturity is a huge turn-off.
Also, cheating lunatics who are closet bi and lie like it's going out of style.
Stasher narcissists.
She can be nerdy; and I'm fine with that. Just as long as she isn't super toxic on top of it.
Hmmm that’s someone that has not interacted with University students or most of engineering, software, legal. Doctors etc socially.
being a geek, a nerd, does not mean you are not a social animal or have some active stuff going on.
Then again why let a bit of shaming because someone studies get in the way.
I don't think 'nerd' is the word but yes, I have been with guys that were so into their business world that they had no time for me, so at some point I had no time for them.
Yes!! Had this exact same situation. It was frustrating & heartbreaking. Hard to deal with
I hope so. lol
Okay, not necessarily. A dork and a dweeb (at least according to that chart), aren’t so great. However I enjoy being a nerd/geek, and would not mind in the slightest for my girlfriend to be one too if we were into similar things.
I’d also like to point out having a limited social life isn’t the same thing as getting along best with a not-so-popular group. And even then, more and more people are becoming nerds/geeks. Either way, quality over quantity.
Hey, you've just described me! :D
I like the Venn diagramme. Mind if I copy it?
No. All the nerds I’ve dated or hung out with have been reasonably social, even if they did mostly hang out with other nerds and geeks (like me lol).
Personally I would switch the words dweeb and nerd on that diagram. I played collage water polo and I’m a total Star Wars nerd, and was pretty successful dating. Can be all at the same time.
Yes and simultaneously climbing the corporate ladder at 24 halfway through the Masters. She’s exceptional though knowing how to use her femininity ( NOT SLUTTY) effectively. NOT FemiNazi type.
You're 38, not 15, if you think like that it only means one thing, you're a loser.
Does it matter?
You're damn near 40 tf🤣
