For all you investors out there or those that aspire to be. What percentage return do you have to get on an investment for it to be worth your while?

No advice yet read lol 😆: I'm glad I've only ever briefly in 2021 and 2022 held any types of "shares" aka those EFT or index whatever's. All I ever did was lose money and had I kept them, complicated taxes/just like owning real shares, buying or selling or holding or dividends or distributions.
The paperwork sounded hell and I now realise keeping my finances simple means I don't have to pay a professional at tax time, as I'm simple. No investments, hahahaha Count from Sesame Street 😈😈😈😈 🦇 🔤

Short answer: 0, as I gave up on shares. Never ever again, unless I intend to fork out extra dough for to pay the financial tax accountant whatever each financial tax time year on year, lol. Paperwork, grrr 😖

Clearly it has to outpace inflation to be worth while... I don't see that happening with many tradition investment assets. The markets are for losers for the foreseeable future. It's actually a better investment to stockpile canned foods or chicken feed than to be in the stock market. Hyper inflation is a bitch...

That depends on the risk of the investment and where it fits in diversification-wise.

Higher risk = higher reward. It would have to be more than 100% if it's a startup of sorts with some serious convincing. HYSA' give ~6% so even low risk investments need to be significantly higher to turn my head.
