No, as a student I don't have the funds to invest on anything but my studies.

Furthermore, stock market is too volatile lately and is not likely going to improve considering the actual political situation worsening worldwide and the US planning on wanting to rule even more parts of the world than what they do now.

No, I leave those investments to people that are happy to lose money and furthermore, I am not the kind of person that is eager to want more and more money. All I need is enough to get me a decent life in a 1 room rented apartment and my bike. I think that for that kind of life, $2,000 a month are enough. No need to have sleepless nights because all my money loses value because of the falling stock market.

I don't even have or want a credit card. There is nothing worse than spending more than you actually have.

got to think long-term. Find a company that has had several positive earnings reports in a row, has a good future, doesn't have too much debt. Don't worry about the daily ups and downs. As long as you have faith the company can continue to grow and be profitable, stick with it.

Thanks for the tips. I may look into it in 25+ years when I finish paying my student loan, that I have my rental contract for my 1 room apartment and that I have a secure job for at least 15 years.

Now is the exact time to invest though. We're young, you invest the money you don't need right now. Money that would just be wasting away to inflation.

I have invested since I was 18 mostly in mutual funds. When the entire market goes down due to outside factors it is great for us at this age. We have time to see out recessions and lower our cost basis. People who are older have to worry about that. I have literally never sold a stock to this point, if it goes down I don't care, I will probably buy more. You have to remember long term a savings or checkings account is irrelevant.

The stock market is the greatest wealth accelerator in human history. It has withstood 2 world wars, many new recessions, new technologies, diseases etc. and still on average as a whole returns about 8%.

I would implore you to start reading more about it and doing anything you can whether starting a Roth IRA or an individual investment account.

Right now, I would not know where to gather any funds to start investing. As a student in the 3rd. semester (out of 12), my finances are stretched to the limits and furthermore, the financial sector is not my forte as I have never given a thought about it.

All I know is that my father has lost a 6 digit amount (in 2021 or 2022 I believe) when the stock market made a plunge. Seeing that this kind of occurrence is happening on a regular basis it would simply be foolish of me to want to invest something I cannot afford to lose.

Also, I am not the type of person that wants to amass wealth. I am pretty happy living a simple life and what would I do with such wealth that would give me more headache than if I had none.

Yes stocks did plummet during covid and that had set me up for massive gains because my income from the military was stable and I kept investing. Perhaps i do make it sound very easy but I keep things simple for myself because it can be stressful to see headlines about impending doom everyday with the market.

My goal of procuring wealth is in the hopes of not having to work as hard if/when I have a family. I don't want to miss important things because we need the money. I want a simple life with a family in a nice city. I do not view money as a problem solver but it is a way to enable freedom in your life (for good and bad) and potentially your family.

I was in the military when I went to college (online) but as soon as you have a consistent income this is something all young people should be considering because it's important for retirement and your life as a whole.

I would only recommend to you the book The Simple Path to Wealth by J. L. Collins. It is excellent.

Nah, too ignorant in that subject and I don’t have the courage. My boyfriend gave me books and videos to watch, but I get confused and annoyed. My mom lost 30k one time, but it was over 10 years ago. & When I first arrived at my previous workplace during Covid 3 coworkers lost 20k when they invested in AMC so that made me even more reluctant. When I get more settled I might try to look into it again.

What I do however is swing trading. Turning $1000 into $2000 and $2000 into $4000. Higher risk, higher reward, higher skills involved. 1% clicking buttons on sell and buy, 99% of it is waiting and scanning further trading opportunities and learning from mistakes and discovering data and information, that even the brokers I'm using don't bother to tell me. Those nipple rubbing personnel.

My plan is once I make profit on average $10K, then invest one entire profit's worth of money in ETFs or something and then compound on it. investing $1000 is almost nothing compared to investing $10K.

Yeah, roughly 15K USD out of which just above 5K is profit/earnings. The four stocks I own is Nvidia, Super Micro Computer, Taiwan Semiconductor and Amazon.

Additionally, 100K of my pension fund is on high-risk stock bonds which mostly includes American IT-companies such as Nvidia, Apple and Microsoft.

Obviously, there are no guarantees and I've in the past lost quiet significant amounts, however, since I begun back in 2016 I’m currently plus 4K.

No I invest in mtg and other Tcgs, the problem with stock market is it's not something I can be happy about just having if it fails.

I would rather invest and buy into stuff that I like anyway so the worst thing that can happen is I get to keep a product I like anyway.

If I had more money I would invest into stock. But for now I just invest in collectables that I like.

Not directly. I have savings and an IRA, but my employer contributed retirement savings goes into the stock market in a variety of funds or whatever. They offer classes on self directing and opportunities to try your hand at it. But i’m more than a little neurotic about certain things and i think i’d probably never sleep again if i did that.
