I only know the cash market and bonds. I am learning the others.

I am not interested in intraday. Just long term investing in low expense mutual funds or ETFs. Investing in individual stocks carries a risk of money not being spread out among a lot of stocks. I know investing in mutual funds is not as exciting, but the risk is generally lower, unless you own a lot of stocks to spread out the risk.
