What do you do if you need references from your last company and you had a falling out with them?

In Germany you almost always get positive references even you leave in anger :D the only exception is if you are disciplinary fired

I WAS, but I don't know what was said to the others. I know word gets around. But the one girl who I could count on is pissed at me for I don't even know what, ''cuz I didn't do anything to her.

I left a fast food chain cuz my boss was a total douchebag. And when i went to write my quitting letter after that, they been very nice to me, keep reminding me how i left a positive effect on them.

So, onto new jobs we find and go.

My last supervisor was a douchebag too. He once singled me out for using profanity, when literally every single person who works there uses profanity, including HIM. And he wouldn't tell me who ratted me, but when someone complained about him to the head honcho and he got chewed out, he went and yelled at the girls who snitched on him. I can't stand hypocrites and people who don't practice what they preach. Overall he was completely incompetent and never should have been a supervisor.
I had issues with co-workers before, who doesn't, but I never had any issues with supervision until they put HIM in charge. I finally got fed up with customers bitching at me because of his shitty policies, while he got to chill in his office and whipe his hands clean. I only ended up taking it out on the customers and others. But overall, I didn't support a lot of their policies and things they stood for. And they made everyone sign an oath to uphold the Constitution, but apparently that courtesy didn't extend to employees.
I would have respected them if they were honest and fair, instead of preaching one thing but practicing another. And I was sick of everyone's hypocrisy and no one taking responsibility for anything.
