What’s the car that u would dream to have?

When I was a boy, my favorite Hot Wheels car was a purple Ford J car like this:

In my late 50s, I discovered what the Ford J car really was.

However, I never saw one in real life and, of course, could not buy one since they were race cars.

When I became a teen, I wanted an American Motors Corporation (AMC) Javelin AMX. Most kids my age wanted a Chevrolet Corvette or a Pontiac Trans AM (especially the 1977 or 1978 models). Some wanted Ford Mustangs or Chevy Camaros. But, I was always different. I liked the "hips" of the front wheel wells of the Javelin more than the Vette because the Vette's also flared outward while the Javelin's was less so making the car more aerodynamic.

This was the car that I wanted when I got old enough to drive.

This was the first car I did get... A mustard yellow 1972 Chevy Vega hatchback. I bought it from my uncle for $400. I have to admit that I miss that car.

My dream car NOW doesn't exist... at least not in the United States.

My cousin used to drive a green SUV when we were teenagers. I loved that car, both the colour, the space, the optional sun roof and even the smell was nice.

I liked the older one more but that might be because I was younger and very few friends of mine had SUVs whereas now all my friends have SUV's so its less exciting then it was when I was a teen.
