What was the most useless class you had in school?

Gym. Oh, the IDEA of getting some exercise wasn't bad, but the execution was terrible: you spend ten minutes changing, then ten minutes sitting in lines in a room with acoustics so awful that the teacher calling out names sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher, so someone always says "Here!" on the off-chance it was their name being called. Then five minutes of explaining the rules of whatever we were doing that day, ten to fifteen minutes of actually doing it, then change and go on to your next class. A total waste.

Even in classes that I didn't like, I LEARNED things.

Tempting to say 'Textile'... Yes, I've 'learned' how to stitch and sew in high school... I have ran into many situations later in life that I thought "damn, I wish I had paid better attention".

All of them are important; even Religion... even if you are not a Religious person yourself.

Probably American classes for English and History tied. Both were awful to the point of pointless. I learned more accurate info in my first years in British school for both topics.

Chemistry. Made me avoid a career path that when I began learning about later in life I might have pursued.

School does a treeible job at teaching things and it's because of all the standardization.

At the time, History was useless to me. Thinking back on it though, History and all the other classes have often proven useful at one time or another, some more useful than others, but none useless.

If I have to pick a singular one probably chemistry, it has 0 to do with anything remotely related to my life.

I also had a class that was teaching you how to act / be in life, that one at least tried to teach you something that may be valuable even if it was so bad at it that even the teacher didn't care about our answers and only looked if you completed the chapter online. I used a javascript trick to instantly mark everything as complete. Had the lowest score of the entire class since I failed even the personal questions you guaranteed would have gotten points for since they were unfailable. But I didn't care because they didn't look at the scores so they didn't even notice my scores were an impossible 0% on every chapter xD.

Helpdesk class was also useless, they gave us a program version no company ever uses so you learnt nothing from it other than the bare essentials on what that kind of program can do. But I figured out how to hack the instances of all my classmates and do arbitrary things to their browsers that way so for me it was more of a hacking class and sending people to random prank sites.

Then you have those classes that teach you some value but are otherwise useless. Like history which is often incorrect and a lie anyway does at least in the time I went to school teach some interesting lessons about morals, right things to do, and the disasters that can happen. So that one thought me some morals in a really good value. 99% of what I learnt though I have forgotten and is absolutely useless.

Geography same thing, 99% of what I learnt there I can't remember at all it was always about some bullshit subject that has no relevancy as if your reading random encyclopedia pages. The only value from that is remotely knowing where something is on a map.

Advanced maths I don't need in my field but basic understanding of math is still useful.

Music I don't need in my field but it did introduce me to one of my hobbies.

French and German would have been useful if I was able to remember them.

Economy I don't even believe was accurate because I don't believe the mainstream thing on inflation and the likes.

Bottom line the only truly useful classes teach me the essentials like writing, calculating, etc. And the few useful bits in IT classes on how to setup an active directory, etc. Mostly useful for knowing what I need to learn, I learnt everything super quickly since i am talented with IT stuff so I could have done those 4 years of school in half a year if it was only the relevant info.

No the true things where I learned a lot other than calculating and reading was in life experience, me messing around with computers, internships, meeting people, jobs, etc. School is a useless system as is.
