I recently won a "joke" award at prom "most likely to be found next to a teacher" basically the teachers pet award except that I didn't get good grades lol

I won some awards for being on a park-league championship baseball team a few times. I played first base.

At each 5 year anniversary at my job as a motor vehicle damage field adjuster/appraiser for an auto insurance company, I received an award and a prize of my choice. A tie tack, a watch band, a ring, and the like. They had the company logo in gold with diamonds. 5 yr = one diamond, 10 yr = 2 diamonds, 15 yr = three diamonds, 20 yr, two diamonds and one twice as large, etc.

I got a nice plaque from my work colleagues when I transferred to a different division in another part of the country. They presented it to me at a party in my honor. That was very thoughtful.

I got a plaque for being the Board Chairman of a local environmental nonprofit for 5 years.

I did, no awards banquet or anything but I received 2 accommodations for saving a pregnant women and her unborn child from drowning while I was lifeguarding.

I had to perform CPR on the mother and saved them both. The Township sent me an award and the County followed suit.

Other than that I received an award when I graduated from university from a mining corporation as part of my Masters thesis, I was able to determine how to use up their tailings in concrete mixtures and reduce their waste by 15% per year in construction materials. They opened a concrete plant and made millions selling precast objects which reduced their tailings waste at the mine and improved the lakes/waterways in the area.

I have a few bowling trophies, and a few debate and oratory trophies from when I was in high school. I also won a $100 gift certificate for coming up with the best name for my company's employee newspaper.

My most cherished award though is the baseball trophy I received as a coach of the championship 10-year-old Little League team, many years ago. That summer was one of the most rewarding times in my life. Working with those kids, who went from last place after 3 games to winning the championship. The championship was nice, but more important was the kids coming together as team, working together, getting better with each practice and game.

Congratulations :) I've never won one. We don't really do that here we don't give awards in high school or in sports teams or at work you just do what you're meant to do and go home :P You have to be a celebrity or a politician or a big business person to get an award pretty much.

I won an award for a science fair project in high school, I built a Tesla coil. I ran a 10K roadrace one long ago 4th of July and won an award. I came in 9th place. At one of my jobs I won an award for being an exceptional employee.

I've won few in my school years. The most I've won was 25 spelling awards in row in the the second grade.
