Am I a bad employee for being quiet at work? Am I a bad team player?

Im actually very quiet at work because I've heard and witnessed my coworkers gossiping about another co worker when they are not around so I dont participate in that and I've also experienced bullying from them because they once talked about my yellow cycling when I had waldrobe malfunction. Louis pants were falling and my coworker said " Your pants are falling" and Louis loudly said "she has an idol in office " then Mika said "I know her she has yellow underwear" I thought its me because I once had a waldrobe malfunction when I sit my cycling is kinda showing above my black pants. I only talk when its about work related. I dont really hang out with them outside work because I dont like them they are mean girls. Some are nice but like I said I dont like most of them I just treat them as coworkers I dont want to befriend them. Some are very strict but has a heart some act like nice but is two face and mean on the inside.

no but there is no mistaking there is a click at work and if not in it, it may make you the low person on the totem pole when comes time to purge. depends...

as well, you won't be management material since you aren't controlling them. if you are ok with that, then ok...

Nope those people are just awful and want you to be also. Very toxic and will drag you down to Thier level and cause your being quiet they don't like you not joining in.

These awful people will keep you from being promoted in time.

Quiet is good.

No need during breaks to socialize. Better not to converse, when expected to do job.
