How do you tolerate travelling with colleagues you can't stand?

I'm currently on a shop steward training course at work ill be sent on these training course trips all the time and branch meetings too.

This is a voluntary role but the union I volunteer pays for everything. I'm in a 5 star hotel and everything would be great if it wasn't for my fellow reps.

I'm the only and first female union rep at my work. All the rest are idiot men who just joined to benfit themselves. My boss is great and he's the only other rep I like..

One rep hasn't bothered showing up to training and the other I literally HATE.

He's a 35 year old man who acts like a 15 year old girl going through a emo phase it's embarrassing. He's a total lying narcissist.

He constantly lies and manipulates members. Most can smell his bs but others believe him and think he's amazing.

He lies about breaking company's rules to come off a rebel, bad boy but it only encourages gullible colleagues to belive if he can get away with it so can they when he's not getting in trouble because he's lying and just wants people to think he's untouchable.

He also told me to fuck off once because he tried to steal my job off be and intimate me. He played victim and lied that the mangers were on his side.

Most people hate him at work. He thinks he's amazing and better than everyone.

He's only been at the company 4 months and he tells people he's the top union rep, top recruiter and has gotten no further action on every colleague he's repped which is a total lie. He's had loads of colleagues fired and in trouble because he encourages them to kick off in meetings. He bullies new starters into joining the union and backs them into a corner. He thinks he's in charge when he isn't and talks to me as if he's my boss when I'm more experienced and actually on record a better rep i just don't brag like him and I don't see it as a competition.

He does not care about members and just wants to look good and get recruited from head office which won't happen because he's to thick.

He thinks he's above the rules and on the training course he was very rude towards me. He gives me one word answers and said in a team building excise he said he became a rep because he thought all the other reps were shit and he'd do a better job. He also said he was rang up by the union and asked to be a union rep which isn't ture at all. He rang the union instead of telling another rep he wanted to be a rep so he went behind are back and they made a exception for him because no one else wante

Wanted to be a rep. Technically he should be in the union for a year before becoming a rep. He's also not done any crouse work because he actually knows nothing and thinks he knows better than everyone else. Even our tutor who teached around the world.

He's also snook his girlfriend into the hotel so they are also unknowingly paying for her. I have a husband and I didn't do that
