How do you react to your old school bully when you meet them years later?

My school bullies were bad. Most came from lower middle class patriarch families thus education was never paramount. Disrespect is normalised. Apart from normal bully stuff, I find these as well.

1. Call me Mexican coz of my border accent

2. Slut shame me coz I had breast (They all had non-existent pimple patches) and whore who fuck 2 men at night for money (that's why I got big breast)

3. Two of the many teachers were bullies. An English teacher who bullied and upon complaining called me mentally retarded. I was short and she accused me of talking, made me sit at last I couldn't see board to complete notes, thus calling me autistic (she got punishment transfer because of that) and a science teacher who didn't grade objectively coz she I wasn't part of her co curricular activities.

By all means I was academic topper of the school and a math genius. Now I am placed in an MNC, with a minimum of 3 international trips a year. All of these bullies have completed their college with no jobs, mainly due to poor academic past, lack of office decorum and so on.

I also find the bullied, now embracing and acing their career with grace, standing on their own foot.

1. Many of my female teachers / school faculty were bullies to me and belittled me even though I got good grades & didn’t get into trouble often though would find little things to push me around about I guess.

2. Had girls and boys classmates being bullies to me especially on the playground at recess.

3. Had a bully threaten my life also I feared for my life from their assaults….

I could go on and on, will end it there.

@happyfoetus Never though I heard one of the bullies requested everyone to gift to charity instead of receiving Holiday gifts…. I can’t stay mad since they changed and became better human being.

I was never really bullied by anyone , but always did my own thing , there was some form of hierarchy however , most cared for it , I couldn't have cared less , I knew older students which gave me some quedous , but I always find it interesting bumping into some of these people who act like nothing happened..

There certainly were so teachers who tried to bully and push , but I just didn't listen to them..

In primary school , we did have a pedophile ring of about 5 teachers , they only molested boys strangely enough , what saved me ( although it also kept me out of sporting teams ) was I had older siblings , they focused on " only " children , many boys were molested.

When I found out that an ex girlfriend of mine was dating a guy who used to bully me in high school, I asked her to let me pay for a romantic date for the two of them. I was, of course thrilled when she said I could.

At first, she was hesitant to tell him that I had paid for their date, but I convinced her to tell him, and he thought it was hilarious... I was never bullied, and we had a huge group of us who went from K-12 together. Some of us were more athletic and others were stereotypical nerds and all spots in between. If anyone messed with the smaller kids or nerds there were dozens of guys who would quickly end the nonsense.

I would be curious to see how they have faired in life and whether they proactively admit how much of a jerk they were in school.

In my experience, being jerk is what they are. To admit it, they need to know it is wrong. Somehow they think it is normal that they don't put it in either good or bad memories.
They take it as just another day.

It depends on their background and upbringing - what caused them to be a bully in the first place.
Some bullies I met later in life had become very introverted.
