I think adult stars enjoy their career the most because they are doing what everyone already doing and get paid for doing it. It is like killing two birds with one stone.

I had two careers, plus several shorter term sidelines. I worked in both residential construction and engineering.

I don't think it's true of all construction trades, but every single house framer I asked said they really loved framing houses. I don't know what it is about it other than enjoying the physical part of it (much like enjoying a sport). There is just something very satisfying about it.

Engineers seem to really like their work also, as long as they are doing actual design work. A lot of engineers don't actually do design work, and I think they are less satisfied.

I've seen various reports that claim medical, teaching, agriculture, forestry as among the most satisfying.

I know mine is not, but it generates a large enough income for me to truly enjoy my free time, so I do not care.
