Should I get a degree even it s just a top up degree?

So.. i recently applied a degree programme from University of Greenwich. ( Business studies )

it takes only 12months to complete and costs around $9000.

I understand there s still some differences between top up degree and degree but i dont really have time for a 3-4years full time degree.

Should i still go for it?

In general, you want to look at what you want to do first. Then figure out what you need to get there. If it requires a degree, you need to look at the cost of getting the degree, and the time it takes to get it. Then decide if the time and money are worth it. Also look at alternatives.

You need to check locally, since the job market and requirements for jobs vary considerably from place to place. Go to the University itself and ask. They should know what kind of jobs people with various degrees get, and their pay. Unless you know people who actually have that degree and are out working, then the instructors at the university might be your best source of information.

Do your homework. Get as much information as you can about the degree and the local job market. Or if you are willing to move, learn the job market where you might move to.

12 months is not very long, unless that is an intensive accelerated degree. It's obviously not an advanced degree, but it might be enough for what you want to do.

I've never even heard of such a thing, that just sounds like a certificate to me. And often a certificate is enough to get you a job. That sounds really expensive though

i already have cert and i just want higher salary. I feel like experience plus that could help

No the one i mentioned is University of Greenwich, located in London and Kent.
Actually when u google it u ll see a lot of bad reviews on this university.

Oh interestingly Greenwich Connecticut was named precisely after Greenwich in London. Wow I did not know that.

And the only reason I knew about Greenwich CT was because of that girl who got murdered by the Kennedy cousin long ago.

I was obsessed with that murder case and I would always google map the location of the murder scene and compare it to how it looks today from what it looked like back then. And would try to envision how she walked from one house to the other when she was murdered.

And that’s when I found out only rich people live there. Wry rich people.

When I saw the name Greenwich in your post i automatically assumed Greenwich CT because I had never heard that name other than that murder case.

Well do some more research on the degree you’re talking about. If it really assures a higher pay and you know for sure that you won’t do the 4 year one, then I say definitely go for it!

4years degree costs around 21000.
