Rescheduled Phone Interview?

Got a long-awaited phone interview after months of frustration and lack of growth at my current job, which is huge in this market!

Then of course they cancel last minute as the job I applied for was no longer a need. However, they did offer to reschedule for a similar position that they posted instead. An even better fit from what I saw. What I do except with a better raise and title!

I applied yesterday and have the link to book the interviewer from the first go-around. I responded graciously to the reschedule but don’t want to seem desperate. Should I wait for her to follow-up, or check back in a few days?

A bit shady but in my book they made up for it. Please advise, thanks!

I wouldn't chase them too hard and risk coming off desperate like you said. But also don't wanna lose the chance by being too hands-off either. My move would be to hit them up in 3-4 days max with something chill like:

"Hey Julie, just circling back on rescheduling our call. Let me know any availability next week that could work. Really excited for the chance to discuss this role further."

Keep it casual but show continued interest. Then ball's in their court to lock something down while you're still top of mind.

In the meantime, do some extra research on the company/position so you slay it when the time comes. And try not to stress - easier said than done, I know. But this will work out dude, your time is coming!
