What does bad handwriting say about a person psychologically?

More often than not it means the hand writing is rushed. This is often because the person thinks much faster than they can write which means if ideas are to be recorded in full as you think, less care has to go into hand writing and more speed needs to go into recording. This may also lead to misspelling words, skipping punctuation, sometimes skipping entire words, and the use of shorthand. It can also mean the person is very busy. For example if you work in a high pace environment like a hospital you might rapidly scribble medical notes or write prescriptions in bad handwriting because you have so many other things to get to. Perfect hand writing is less important than saving someone's life. You have to prioritize.

In my experience it tends to fall on two ends of the scale.

Some of the smartest people I know have terrible handwriting. There seems to be some kind of connection there.

On the other hand, some people who have severe mental problems can't write too well either.

The FBI holds detailed behavior handbooks on the ticks of humans. This is probably lack of care to detail, so less obsessive personality, but impulsive and reckless one. Still could be a serial killer but more opportunistic rather than having a type to hunt.

There are several things that you can determine about somebody by their handwriting. If person uses a lot of pressure on the paper to write it means they have a high libido. As a person ages their handwriting begins to deteriorate.

Not much in modern society, I don't even have a handwriting anymore. I write so little writing became a visual process rather than automation so I can change my font at will.

Doesn't say anything. Kids today aren't taught cursive and we adults have few times to actually write something. We all get sloppy in our writing.

I have excellent handwriting, but most men don’t. On the surface, it seems like patience might have something to do with it. However, I’m actually extremely impatient. I don’t think it means much of anything.
