I don't really handwrite anymore.
I would only do so to make fancy letters when signing cards or writing mathematics.
Basically, in 1977, I had handwriting purged from my system. This is because I took drafting aka mechanical drawing as a freshman in high school. In drafting - this was before PCs - you learn certain basic skills all over again, but in a more disciplined way.
For instance, you learn about pencils... how to properly sharpen them... how to understand hardness ratings... when to use a what hardness pencil to draw what kinds of lines... You also learn how to make exactly 3:1 ratio arrowheads.
But, perhaps the one skill that stays with you all your life is lettering. That is, using a pencil (or pen) to make perfect sans serif letters that would go on engineering drawings or blueprints. When you master lettering, it is like becoming a machine.
In the intervening 45 years, many have commented on my printing and when I address an envelope, it is easily machine-readable by an optical character recognition system.
The textbook I used (and still have) is "Mechanical Drawing", 7th Edition (1966) by Thomas E. French and Carl Svenson.
This image is likely taken from a Thomas E. French book: for generations (since the early 1900s), he had written textbooks on drafting... This image looks like it came out of my textbook although it could have come from any of the editions.
Thomas Ewing French lived from 1871 to 1944 and was a professor at The Ohio State University.
Like I said earlier, he wrote a good number of textbooks on mechanical/engineering drawing and lettering. For later editions, additional authors like Carl Svenson continued French's work which is why his textbooks are still in print and which is why my 1966 7th Edition is by French and Svenson (and the book is called "French and Svenson" by those who draft).
One of French's earlier works was a 1909 textbook, "The Essentials of Lettering: A Manual for Students and Designers".

It is very good.
Can you show us an example of your hand writing? Since you like math as well why not write For all real number x, x is less than x - 1
@AndrewAzul My handwriting or my printing?
And how do you want that: In mathematical symbols or written like you wrote it?
And there is no real x in which x < x-1 because that inequality would give 0 < -1 which is false.
Care to reword what you want?
Why not do both handwriting and printing, also write it symbolically, super formally :-) and although the predicate is false I still want you to write it >=]
@AndrewAzul I wouldn't handwrite that because, generally, I don't handwrite anymore - especially something technical.
Like my mother's (who was a teacher), and also like 12 year old me's, because I type much more than I write. Another legacy from my mother: signatures that are you writing your name in your normal handwriting are far harder to forge than a squiggle.
(Which reminds me of a Terry Pratchett story. He'd spent a day signing books, and stopped off at a motorway service station on the way home for something to eat. Having no cash, he wanted to pay by credit card, but they rejected several attempts because his signature didn't match the card!)
Mine looks awful. I hate it 🥴

Ps. that drawing is so cute!

It used to be way worse before.. lol
@MCheetah @PrettyPriya @Agape93 @NathanDavis you guys might want to see this.
Fortunately, I do not have OnlyFans and never will. If you were literate, you would know that this is a quote from a book, Anne Of Green Gables, written by LM Montgomery in the 1900s. So much for a high school English teacher.
Also, you would have much better luck at dating if you didn't go around whining about your height. Like for fuck's sake, 5'11/5'10 or whatever you are is NOT short. You're just in denial that your personality is trash.
@Noahzaid are you high?

sometimes I cannot read my handwriting, I slur my letters together as if it's cursive however I can assure you that it is not.
Also beautiful art.
My handwriting is horrible. Absolutely atrocious. Always has been.

Although I don't have any linguistic problem, I was never able to write in a clean way, and that's not for not having tried very hard when I was at school. That handwriting problem is becoming worse as I'm getting older.
Your picture is really good.
Here is mine...
I'm impressed that you know how to write cursive. It's not that bad, yours. I have a lot of people tell me that I have beautiful handwriting. I don't think so.
You have very nice handwriting. You draw beautifully too. That is amazing. I'm too embarrassed to show you my handwriting
It's chicken scratch. You wouldn't even be able to understand what I wrote. I sometimes can't read what I write
I become likely MD next year and my handwriting gets worse.
When I have the diploma I won't be capable to read my notices anymore. lol
Quite small.

Your handwriting looks really nice!
Ty! I mean i never thought someone would like it lol. Time to time the more i write, it get worse. My hands get fatigued easily when writing
Better then mine. I can’t even draw a straight line
that drawing THOUGH... those are very good traces
Readable only be me, always has been, always will be
I like your handwriting. There's nothing wrong with it. You're an artist too. Mine is very small and some can't read it.
Yes, very good handwriting rate you 100 %

AAAAAAAAAAAAHO.
If THAT is a hot mess, then mine is a garbage fire.
I hate handwriting. I write in engineer script.
I can't write good in cursive like it's unreadable.
Mine is pretty sloppy too.
Third grade or Pharmacist.
That’s not too bad
If I can read it, yours is very good.
Not great but at least you know script
very neat... im surprised lol
Your handwriting is cute! Mine is crude lol
Chicken scratches...
