The vast majority of recruitment firms I have been in contact with are unsuccessful. I have had no placements whatsoever from any staffing agencies here locally. Many are claiming they don't have any roles available, but I just noticed one that was recently posted that closely aligns with my talents, yet that recruiter it has been assigned to (one whom I have spoken to numerous times and knows my situation) has failed to inform me about it. Like WTF?

It's not you, they just need to keep busy to keep their own jobs, many firms claim they are recruiting but don't actually want to, just a way of getting their established employees doing the work of two people,
