I've done it and liked it. The pay is OK shirt term. But if you use your own car the upkeep can get pretty expensive long term. When I used to move around a lot it was always an easy short term job to get to make a little money while I got settled.

The location can make a difference because tips for the same job vary wildly.

I've done it before the apps system for their workers is unfair, the costumers reviews effect your score, the score tells them how good you are and under a certain percentage you can lose your job, which is all good but the costumers abuse it and they can get mad over something or try to scam for a free meal and it effects your score, also these apps gave the ability to the customers to take their tips back which is unfair because when you relieve the order and it flashes for you to either accept or deny, the tip is included in the amount they flash which is what drivers go by to either accept or deny based on if it's worth it or not, they can order and make you think you are going to recieve a big tip and then they take it back before you arrive with the order, after you already accepted it, they give the costumers too much power and they treat their drivers unfair, at least it was like that when I worked for Uber

I've actually received cold food from the fast food restaurant I picked up from and the costumer blamed me for it being cold, it dropped my rate, I did over 200 orders so it's not just a few I tested out either, that doesn't count gas also

Id say it probably depend on work conditions.

If it's stressful all the time or most of the time. Then probably not.
If it's easy enough to keep up and not to much places where it's hard to find parking and stuff. Then it could be okay.

not really, no... this place I live on has a MILLION stops and I dread that, so I could definitely not spend most of the day stopping at every single turn, red light, bump, wall and pothole... no fucking way

Sometimes traveling too far May lead into some troubles. And I'm not big into problems. My vehicle is in a pretty good vehicle. I just don't trust the areas that I have been through.

Most of them work crazy hours and are running and gunning. Places like ups pay well though
