I don't know anybody who hires somebody purely because they are family or friends unless the person is qualified for the job. I was fired by two family members cause I was not qualified for the job, one was an engineering job I got hired for with no engineering training at my mother's old business and the other was a medical hospitality job I got without any training in medical administration.
