Assuming you are in America. Since the migrant invasion more people are in America now that don't speak English and they aren't expected to learn English either. At one time not so many years ago they were going to force illegals to learn English when they became citizens of the United States.

Things sure did change for the worse when I moved back to the West Coast and needed to land a job and fast!

Much to my surprise every single job interview I went on they required their employees to be bilingual, and I wasn't.

It got to the point that I stopped going on interviews and just asked them over the phone if I had to be bilingual and the answer was always YES!

I was pounding the pavement every single day trying to get a job. After 14 MONTHS I finally interviewed with an CPA accounting firm and they only had white clients. I am white so I was a match! Finally!! I worked there for 2-1/2 years until I became ill and had to quit.

I'd contact my union and tap into my unemployment insurance fund until I found another job.

1) I always have a current resume.

2) Do some math work and see how long my savings and unemployment will make the house payment and other related expenses

3) I continually get inquiries from my Linkedin app and am presented with job opportunities.

4) I would stay in touch with my just prior employer and make sure my employer knows how to contact me. ( I was called back to work by an employer 18 months after a 'cut back") I never burn my bridges.

5) Contact a recruiter.

6) Scan the classified ads and send out resume's.

7) Go to the beach, exercise and try not to panic
