Have you ever sued anyone what did it feel like, how did it go?

No, I live in a civilized country where people don't sue others because they have bad breath, because they don't greet you when you meet them or because they scratched your car.

I leave this steps to uncivilized people like in the US that want to make a fast buck on the back of others and for just about nothing.

I could understand that you want to sue someone that killed a family member but not because their cat strayed into your backyard and that leaves you emotionally unstable. This is so typical of the USA and only shows how people want to make money on the back of others without really having been hurt either physically or emotionally.

So, technically, I have never sued anyone. That being said, the victim in German criminal law is always a witness, while the plaintiff is always the public prosecutor. So, if the few times that I had to deal with courts had been civil and not criminal law, I would have sued people.

How did it feel? I hate that it happens in the first place. Courts are always weird and even the times where the police statement was enough from me I hated it. I am Grateful people get what they deserve though.
For context: I am a journalist and these cases always dealt with, Strafgesetzbuch (criminal law) (StGB) §241 Bedrohung (threat).
