Do you feel grateful for having a job that you like?

Sometimes I think about when I was unemployed and looking for work while doing deliveries on the side and it felt like hell not to have a full time job but it felt more like hell when I was at a job I didn't particularly like last year.

I am very thankful to have one and glad that I enjoy it. My coworkers are so nice and great peeps.

Yes I’m a teacher and I love my job. My students drive me crazy sometimes but seeing them all learn and grow was very rewarding. I did everything in my power to improve as an educator too. As I go into my second year year of teaching I feel very good.

Hard for me... since with any job... I liked.

I had a babysitting job around 12/13 years. old. I folded table clothes while in HS. I worked at my grand uncles restaurant around 11 years. old. Then as a cashier at a local supermarket called c-Town. Then filed paperwork at SS administration office when I finished HS as a summer job... I worked and didn't care. I always worked and any job I had, I was glad I was working. I don't like to be idle. For many... those are probabley jobs they would complain about... I don't, I liked them and I met people that I learned about their life.

In College, I worked retail in The Gap store. And taught my native language to investment bankers. Then my junior year, I was hired to work full time and completed my college in 6 years. part time. I also worked at summer camps. One thing... I made very little money... but I saved and I learned to invest well.

Then completed my masters degree... and 30 more credits.

I think, in life, as long as we move forward and making good decisions... every path we take is a journey. I learn from and grow.

Now I look back, I am grateful for all my life work experiences. I want to do more! :)

Yes, I'm extremely grateful, especially for my coworkers. When I started, I was new to the state and sad, lonely, homesick... lol but they made me feel so welcome! They turned a stressful situation into something really nice. They made me realize I made the right decision and we have all developed a great friendship.

My personal opinion about this, is this, what ever country you live in, it doesn’t matter. You will never get enough wages that fall in line with inflation!

We are constantly ripped off left right and centre, or at least especially in United Kingdom!

I do on the whole and am rn (Friday night) parked outside my new job location in a new country I've only just arrived in. Shiprex new workplace in a few weeks.

Yes, for 20 years I had a crappy sales job. I worked a lot of hours, hardly ever had a vacation and was treated like crap by my boss and my customers. I changed careers when I was 40 and got into IT. I had a good career and now I am teaching computer science which I like doing.

I don't "like" my job, but, I'm good at it. The problem with my job is, if I ever need someone to work for me, because I have an emergency or something, I can't ask anyone to, because I'm the only who does my job. So, if I need to take time off I literally have to ask for vaca. or sick, which depletes my vaca and sick time, very quickly.

They need to hire a second person, so I can at least ask them to take my job when I can't

I'm thankful for running a business that generates a lot of income. I am not really fond of the job itself, but it allows me to do what I want in my non-work time so I am content with it.

Massive advantage. But honestly the most important thing is the NETT financial position , because it's a job , make as much $$$ as absolutely possible.

Yeah. I just wish i wouldn't have went through what I had to to get it. It's like winning the lottery and being paid 100million dollars 1 day before the collapse of the gov't and now that 100million dollars is all of a sudden worthless.
