Is Waterloo and U of T, a Chinese thing?

In the last 30 years, I have only met 3 Chinese people who did not study at Waterloo, U of T or McGill in Canada. I know 2 Chinese people that had brain tumours as children who got straight A’s at U of T. One of them got a job in the medical field. I don’t mean ordinary A’s, I mean in the high 90s range.
