How much money?

How much money do you need? If you could fill out a lottery and enter the amount of the prize yourself, how much money would you have to win?

Depends what you mean. I would be a-okay with just enough to buy a house since that's actually my only problem in life I need a place stable to live at.
Cheapest houses here are like 100k so that would be great.

But there is also lottery's that decide to pay every month like set for life. Which 10k every month would be great and no tax. I would take 5k a month and be happy. Maybe 3k. 2k would be some spending money but not solve much.
1K well I get that now for not doing anything.
However set for life is only for actually 30 years but that 10K to 5K would make you over 1million in the long run and be easier to handle.

That being said getting 1Mil right up can be used to invest etc and make way more.
And hey if I can really just have any number I'll take Billions cause why not?
I'd for sure find good ways to use all of it up.

If I could select how much I would win in a lottery, I would choose to win 10,000,000 because if I live another 100 years, that would be $100,000 a year, and with inflation, that might be worth $35,000 at the time of my death. It would not be enough for me to be lazy and do nothing all day, but it would be enough to protect me from things like homelessness and starvation, as long as I worked a basic job to stay afloat, something I enjoy doing, that I do part time.

Some other answers show that there are people who don't know when they have enough and will probably never be satisfied no matter what they have and may not appreciate what they have.
