Anyone Used Samsung Odyssey Monitors?

Are they as good as they're marketed? Do they last long or they die quickly? What problems did you encounter? How is Samsung's customer service and RMA process like? I'm considering to get the Odyssey G4, but for a FHD monitor it's kind of expensive. I can get a QHD monitor from other companies or even the Odyssey G5 for slightly more. Apparently, the G4 has been reduced by over 100 dollars during major sales on Amazon like Prime Week and Black Friday-Cyber Monday (instead of usual 50 dollars discount).

No but all my televisions are Samsungs. I used ot buy Sonys but Samsung seems to be a better product. I just bought a 55 inch OLED and it is great.

Can't believe OLED is prohibitively expensive for computer monitors, but cheap for phones, tablets, and TVs

I never use ANYTHING made by Samsung! They proved to me back in the `80's that they're GARBAGE!!

They've gotten a lot better since then, although their laptops are pretty garbage still while their storage drives are the best apparently. However, seems that their monitors and phones are taking a nosedive in QC recent years so I don't know.

I prefer a company that makes one thing (per se) and makes it very well. You've got some companies that make washing machines, fridges, microwaves, t. v.'s, cell phones, cars, stereo gear, etc.. Then you have companies like Tascam/Teac that focus mostly on one thing: recording gear!
