I don't see all the data for this monitor. What is the refresh rate of this monitor? It is labeled as gaming monitor and therefore, if you want to pay that kind of price, I would want at least 200Hz monitor. Does this one deliver that kind of performance?
Also, what kind of connectors does it have and what do you need this kind of monitor? If it is just to write a few letters or surf the internet, then you don't really need such an expensive monitor.

I bought a $1000 LG 32UD99 monitor about 5 years ago. Great specs - but after about 3 years, the panel started to fail. And it turns out this was a known issue - EVERYONE who bought that monitor and a couple of similar ones had the same problem. LG's position was TOUGH SHIT.
I realize that LG is one of the few making monitors like this, but you should know going in that if something happens beyond the warranty period - which is LIKELY - you're going to be SOL.

Fifteen hundred for a monitor is wild.
