Where is the strangest place that you ever fell asleep?

I used to install computer systems in banks and department stores. I was working at one department store chain at night and then go to work at another department store during the day. We were running data lines all over the store. We had to test the lines. One guy would get up into the suspended ceiling and the other guy would walk back to the computer room with the meter and test the line. One night I fell asleep up in the ceiling.

The strangest place I've ever slept is on an airplane during an overnight flight to Australia because it would be day when we got on the plane and day when we got off the plane and the only place to sleep was on the airplane. We had a full day of walking once we got there, including a climb up a very famous bridge, and then a long personal trek from the bus stop to the sea food place, where they had all kinds of sea food. I almost refused to walk when we were on our way back to our sleeping area because my feet and legs hurt so much from walking that far, so I was lucky I managed to fall asleep on the plane or I would not have been able to handle our long trek after getting off the airplane.

Behind the wheel on a huge interstate. I was on a very long drive and decided I needed to take the next exit for a rest. I could even see the exit up ahead. The next thing I knew, my car was off the road bouncing around. I knew right away that I fell asleep, but now I was wide awake! It was the middle of the night and a mostly empty road. Thank God I didn’t kill anyone.

Never fell asleep in the ceiling but I did fall asleep once at the computer console of the system we were testing late at night. I had been up all day, working 8 to 5 like normal, and then stayed at the customer site, preparing in the evening for an overnight system update and test. It was a rail transit system that stopped running between 130am and 430am, which is when we had to install new software and test it. One of my colleagues let me sleep for 30 minutes while he did the test I was supposed to be doing, and then woke me up so I could finish.

I have done that as well. I sent my crew home and volunteered to stay by myself. I had to input a ton of data into a system and could only copy it a little at a time or the system would crash. It was long and it was boring. i did fall asleep for a while but I got it all done before people started showing up for work.

I once fell asleep sitting at a table at a coffee house on sunset boulevard here in Los Angeles. I had been there really late listening to music and also playing music and I had sat down to talk with friends and allegedly fell asleep sitting there. The owner of the coffee house woke me up in the morning with a cup of coffee and some breakfast and sat and talked with me and made sure I was okay to drive. It was embarrassing but it was also in a way. Very comfortable.

The strange place I fell asleep was in a cemetery. I was setting up cameras on the main building and it had to be done at night. I took my dinner break, it was around 1am. I sat on the back of my van with my back against my shelving and after I ate i fell asleep in that position.
