I feel stressed ðŸ¤
so I was promoted to manager and I started at a new location 2 months ago.
i get a lot of anxiety when it comes to change. So it was very stressful for me to have to learn how a new location operates and learn a whole new team on top of being a new manager and still getting used to the basics of the position.
I finally started getting a little more comfortable and I was just told today that I’m being transferred to another location again starting Monday. So essentially less than two days notice.
now this location is a much shorter driver and they’re busier so I will earn higher bonuses.
but it just sucks that I just started to find my rhythm here and now I essentially have to start over again…
I just got my new schedule and my first shift there I’m literally closing alone with a manager in training.
like why the fuck would you schedule my first shift here by myself…I don’t know the team here nor do I know the exact closing procedures. And on top of that you’re gonna pair me with someone who is training? Like bro I barely know what I’m doing myself, and I’m supposed to train a manager even newer than me? Be so fucking for real for 5 fucking minutes.
and I have heard so many horror stories about the general manager here and that she’s a nightmare to work for.
At my current location I already knew the GM and one of the other managers because we were promoted together and we had a really good relationship already.
And I was hoping I was at least gonna transferred to the location I started in because I heard one of the managers there is pregnant and she’s thinking of leaving. I know the team there and know how everything works because I worked there for 3 years. But apparently they already have someone else in mind to fill that position. So fuck me, I guess.
It seems like I’m just an extra manager and they’re never sure where to place me but they are always so sure what the plans are with everyone else.
