If you are a public employee, (excepting of course undercover/intelligence), CAN you truly be doxxed? Is doxxing everyday LEOs really doxxing?

Salaries, years of service, former employees, education level, public relations inclusion, community outreach, photos, swearing in, certification, licenses, etc are ALL public info.

With a Freedom of information Act (FOIA / FOIL) request you can get their personnel records, disciplinary records TOO!

It just seems weird to me when people complain about doxxing when you're a government employee. Transparency is part of the employment, no?

Depends on public job. LEOs should have SOME protections for safety. I don't know what that looks like tho.
