I'm not trying to shite on you or any one else but it's a security job that hires under 18-year-olds. You're not protecting the queen. You got pants on? Yeah? Okay that's about the level of "professional" they can expect. I got $1000/day plus expenses when I was doing personal security and that was back in 2009. For that pay they could demand that I not smoke, eat, drink or converse with anyone while the package was in play or on a handoff. For what they're paying you they can go F themselves or make your pay appropriate to what they expect.

I used to be a bouncer and it's very common unless you're a highly paid one like a personal bodyguard where your job is specifically to be very alert at all times. Even at that level I'm sure it still happens kinda a lot.
