I need a job. Goodwill is hiring a cashier, but I really suck with counting money, so I really dont want to apply for that. Dairy queen is hiring. The description says I'll be doing transactions with customers. So cashier. Also id be working with customers which freaks me out. I could ask if I could just work in the back as a cook, but even that seems stressful, and I realize this is a beginning job for teenagers, and the sounds of it still freaks me out.

Feeling anxious about certain jobs doesn't define your worth. Recognizing what makes you uncomfortable is important for personal growth. Consider exploring roles that align with your interests and strengths, which can boost confidence. Look into entry-level positions in industries like retail, libraries, or community services where you might feel more at ease. As someone who's navigated various career paths, I've learned that starting in a comfortable environment can build skills and ease anxiety over time. Prioritize roles that help you grow at a pace you're comfortable with. Your worth is determined by your journey to find the best fit.
