Im giving serious thought to going to a community college ear me.

Im just a little unsure of what to expect since I haven't been in school in like 20 years. Im a little apprehensive.

Was it worth it in the end? How did you go about choosing your major?

I went to college right after high school. I knew I wanted to be an engineer from a very early age, to follow in the footsteps of my older cousin, who was like a second father to me. I majored in engineering, had an excellent learning experience (I didn't participate in many parties, which is why some people go to college; instead, I studied and learned), got my degree, and had a long career as an engineer.

If I were in your position, I would ask myself why do I want to go back to college? Do I want to improve my job/current career? Do I want to start a new career? Maybe I just want to learn something I don't know? Or, maybe I want to meet new people?
