Mine was fascinating, first time in my life. Had 2 actually. Everything was fascinating, all aspects such as anthesia and getting to see the OR and instruments. Can't say wasn't nervewracking! My anxiety definitely went up.

Tonsils and adenoids removed, went fine.
3 brain surgeries, went fine but recovery was hell.
Then after that I discovered that the brutal procedure called the wada test I had underwent, in which the anesthesia failed, gave me severe ptsd.
Now I can’t even have blood taken without them having to restrain or sedate me because I black out.
I was 5 so I don’t recall a lot. I just remember going to a waiting room with a drink and I guess whatever was in that drink was a sedative because I don’t remember anything after that 😅 I do remember waking up in a bright room and the nurse was giving me a lot of little stickers and she stayed with me until I woke fully.
my experience going into the OR is freezing my ass off but thank God for the heated blankets
Just a little scared.. but everything turned out alright
