What was your favourite part about highschool?

For me, I would have to say band. Best time ever.

I loved joining before school bands where I sing, and also joined several dance groups. (Salsa and Hip Hop dancing)

There were also live bands who performed that are now famous, those amazing coachella parties, our yearly parades, the foundation day we all look forward to, the cafeteria where I've always bought my favorite strawberry shake, the library filled with amazing books, those innocent romance pocket books that made me giggle, volleyball.. and our innocent puppy love and varsity crushes. 😂🏀

Fun days. It was a day organized by each senior class where classes would be cancelled and every classroom would be a different activity to do. I would always end up in the art rooms, someone would do a photo booth, a room for board games and sometimes video games, they’d set up in the gym for sports, one year someone brought a slip-n-slide and covered it with dish soap. We were a really, REALLY small school so we could get away with it.

We were coming into our physical peak and we were clueless, naive, innocent. The weight of the world was not yet on our shoulders and life had not yet taken its toll. Unlimited possibilities had not yet resolved into hard realities.

In high school, my favorite part was exploring my passion for art and film. I loved watching movies from different cultures, including Asian cinema, and drawing characters from them. It allowed me to connect with like-minded friends and even attend events related to film and art. Those experiences truly shaped my creative side. 🎨🎬

My favourite part was weekends and graduating. 🤣 I didn't adapt well to high school and we lived so far out of town we had an hour and half bus trip to and back every day. I did really want to join the drama club but we just lived so far away and there was always so much had to be done at home that it just weren't practical. Oh well. I made up for it by being an overacting , drama queen everywhere else. 🤣

In music class, we had one theory, two practical, and one music history lesson each week, and I look forward to all of them.
