What is the weirdest guest request or complaint you've ever seen?

Once, at a hotel I worked in, the reception area was very hard to find. The hotel looked like a castle or a fortress. One guest wandered inside on his own, searched for the reception for minutes, went up and down the stairs, etc. When he finally found us, he scolded us very badly and shouted; he looked like he was about to attack us. As if I wasn’t the receptionist of that hotel but the contractor or architect who built and designed it. You get all kinds of strange people like that.

Since I was in different regions at different times, I couldn’t see many famous people. But still, I must have seen around 20–30. Some of them were ordinary, friendly, and normal, while others were extremely egotistical, serious, and acted like they were something special

Worst experience in your career?

A child killed his mother by slashing her throat. That was the worst incident. The woman was a very good person, a guest who had stayed for months. And I was also falsely accused of rape by a female Arab guest, she was like a homeless, deranged person who couldn’t pay the money. I really regretted letting her into the hotel.

Yes, 99% of the time, I can tell some girl is an escort, very easily. By their looks, attitudes, perfumes, moves etc.

What was your favorite hotel and why?

Due to privacy, I can’t give corporate brand names or personal names, but in terms of location, beachfront resorts had a fun atmosphere. Boutique hotels were quieter, but I personally prefer being in lively city centers. Otherwise, life only exists for 3 months in vacation towns
