What are signs you’re being singled out at work?

As for singling out in the work place it does happen & when it happens it could be a GOOD thing or a BAD thing & that all depends on the situation within your company.

As for unfair treatment unfortunately it does happen & that can consist of constant criticism or blame. As for excessive monitoring it does happen as well where you are being micromanaged or having your work checked constantly. Sabotage can also happen where you are given impossible workloads, unreasonable deadlines, or lack necessary tools & training. In addition you can be denied promotions, training, or opportunities.

As for being singled out it sucks & when it happens you have to speak up & question it. At any time you feel you are bring singled out & you are afraid to say something in fear of losing your job look at the bright side you will probably lose it anyway.

On the flip side you can be singled out in a good way & secretly be in line for a promotion & not even know it. Management will test you & if they are throwing more responsibility your way to see what you can handle that could be a good thing & hopefully they don’t take advantage of you.

As for a raise if you are taking on more work or more responsibility & if they don’t want to give you a raise ask them why.

People are having discussions in close doors without inviting you in. People stop their conversations when they notice your presence

When you are the one who is tasked with going out to the deli and picking up everyone's lunch. In other words, you are their go for.
