Anyone else 30+ years old and a NEET?

I am 31 years old and a NEET.

NEET = Not in Education, Employment, or Training

I now collect NEETbux (disability benefits)

After getting fired from my 25th job over a year ago, I called it quits.

I never wanted to be a NEET, but it happened. At some point, I have to realize I cannot hold down stable employment. Now I am married and barely leave the house. It sucks I am a loser, but it is what it is.

You can, you just don't. You told me before you refuse to do any job you deem beneath you or outside your skillset. And like I told you before, it still applies. Your skillset ain't paying bills. It's worthless right now and you need new ones. And until then, no job is beneath you. Do you want your wife supporting a man child who can't even do basic shit to support his own home? If not, then stop complaining, no more excuses, and get it done. If yes, don't expect her to waste her life with someone who won't do the bare minimum.

And no, your autism or other shit isn't an excuse. You can still do shit.

I do handyman work around the house. I have never worked well with coworkers or in a team environment. I best work solo on my terms.

1000% agree with what Agape said here. You are a drain on society just because you can't learn to work with others and have to be spoiled and do it your way only. That's something you have to figure out or you will never be a productive member of society.

I am not lazy, just exhausted. 25 jobs in a span of 15 years, I tried my best, honestly.

Reasons are often vague and obscure. Last employer said it was soft skills and not knowing when/how to ask the right questions.

- Build one tiny outside-connection habit weekly.
- Involve your spouse in planning, not just apologizing.
