Are these gift ideas appropriate for my TAFE teachers and friends?

I’ll probably never see my teachers, tafe friends, or teacher’s aide again soon. We finish tafe very soon. I’m wondering how suitable it is to buy chocolate covered biscuits (cookies to USA people); for the teachers; and teacher’s aide. $4 packets of them each? Cheaper than chocolates and they go well with coffee.

Then a Chinese green jadeite lotus woven bracelet for each of the two women who are tafe friends, to thank them for helping me keep up on my computer, in class? They’re only about $24 each.
