Is it better to let people discover your point or to shove it down their throats so they know you're better than they are?

I get bored trying to explain things normally just to be misunderstood because people only pay attention to key phrases... So I've developed a habit for sort of dropping little clues and it's way more satisfying seeing what different people pick up on and how they interpret it. Even if sometimes I'm still like πŸ€”πŸ«©πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«
